π Parents play a key role in CSC and must make up the majority of the council.
π How to Join a Catholic School Council in YCDSB

β Every YCDSB school holds a Catholic School Council election in September.
β The election meeting is announced via school newsletters, emails, or the school website.
π Check with your school office if you are unsure about the election date.
2οΈβ£ Nominate Yourself (or Another Parent)
β Fill out a CSC Nomination Form (provided by the school before the election).
β Parents can nominate themselves or another parent for a position.
β Submit the form before the deadline (usually a few days before the election).
3οΈβ£ Attend the First CSC Meeting & Elections
β If there are fewer nominations than available positions, all nominated parents automatically join the council.
